The National day

What a way to celebrate it, while everyone was enjoying their night on the eve of National day, i was making sure my clients were safe. i had a duty, a care for my clients, to make sure they were comfortable and sleeping well. Thank God everything went well and besides the BO x 10 person, it was okay.

Surprisingly, i still had energy the following morning. Breakfast at Mac!
yummy! had my favourite Hotcakes and sausage meal with milo and a cuppa mocha frap.

In the train, i was so tired i dozed off.... (as usual)
I overslept and woke up at Marsiling,.. haha

Dinner was nice, Met up with Mum and my dear 2 brothers.
Had it at Aston's @ Sembawang Shopping Centre.

Tried the Crispy chicken and Hiktory chicken with colslaw and pasta. Big plate and downed it with a nice cold IBC root beer.

Then back to sister's place for a round of dry swimming haha....

Btw, at 20:22, the announcement came out for us all to say the pledge. i stood still and recited it. Hmmm, our pledge has so much meaning, and im glad we are together, Singaporeans. Unity and love, creates this special bonding...

Happy National Day everyone...

My morning walk.

It's been a while since i last walked outside. I do enjoy the short morning walks (ok, does not have to be mornings) but i do enjoy a walk every now and then. So decided to take a short walk at Lower Seletar Reservoir. Brings back some memories there.i have to been to this place about 3 times already, today would be my fourth. Reason why i keep coming back despite knowing the shots would be almost the same. I enjoy the quietness there. Still waters, and the rising sun. I believe i'm not the only person who agrees with my thoughts. i met a fisherman there too. No we didnt talk but we had our mutual understanding. (i take my shots, he does the fishing.) I wanted to take a natural shot of him fishing but he kept moving from point to point, checking on his reels, i managed to get a few only. Thank God they were lovely. Because of the rising sun, i managed to get a silhouette too. will post the pictures if not ill link them.

I sat down for a while since i was sick and it had been a while since i done a sunrise shoot. Breathing in the morning freshness really does wonders. I thank God for the good air and the wonderful atmosphere. Sometimes, the simplest things in life can be very satisfying.

Don't you agree?

These few days.

I recently came down with some flu like symptoms.
i fear that i might pass it to my family.
the cough, running nose, sore throat and now fever has got me a little worried.
thou people have died from h1n1, i believe most of them were due to underlying conditions.
The symptoms get worse especially during the night and toward the morning.
This affects my sleep as i toss and turn trying to fall asleep, this becomes a difficult task.
when i finally get to sleep, morning has come...
then my throat becomes sore and there is quite a bit of phlegm (luckily its white)
cant imagine if its yellowish or even greenish.
Water is my best friend and so is my new love for porridge. (no i dun like porridge)
the only foods i can take now are egg, tofu and fish...
somewhat healthy if u ask me but its the best for now.
no pork, no fried food, no cold drinks, no coke zero, no pork knuckle
(i even got stopped trying to eat my favorite porkie)..

I only pray that i recover fast... there is so much i need to do, so many patients i need to care for, so many friends that need my care and shoulder, so many people i like to cheer up, so many friends i have to make, so many pictures id love to take.

all is lost for now (due to isolation)...

God save me.....

ah... life....

Work covers most of the time in my life.

Currently, 6 days a week, 8 hours each day...

honestly, many people say my salary is freaking low and it's like i'm under paid

but when i look at it, i think the pay is something secondary...

With my work, i feel that satisfaction and gratitude is good enough..

The smile on their faces, the hand shakes and the thank you's all melt me away..

Ah, that priceless look when they thank you for all that you've done...

Really, it's priceless...

Then after work comes my passion, Photography...

I'm glad that i picked it up because it's something i can capture moments with. i just love human expressions, be it happy, sad or angry, it's all lovely on it's own. So i go with Portraits. Humans love to pose and smile, i love to capture that moment because, sometimes you will never get that same expression twice. So capturing that moment to me is very important.

I'm glad i have a handful of friends, even a close buddy who goes out with me to shoot. We do a different array of shots from portraits to landscape, to strobing (gonna start this soon)...

Greatest news is, my girl is in this too... She has an eye for good pictures... so i won't be surprised if one day she does better than i do... but yeah it's all the same, we all wanna catch that 'moment'...

Look forward to helping out in events, weddings, gatherings and such...

Got 1 event in November... a wedding of a friend's friend... hmmmm

Watch out for it....
